The web site is organized into categories of Beadwork, Birds & Feathers, Clay & Pottery, Leather & Clothes, Metalwork, Plants & Trees, Porcupine Quills, Stonework & Tools, and Weaving & Cordage. They provide simple instructional information about how some of these materials are used by Natives. More importantly, detailed background is provided on the history and development of these kinds of Native technologies, showing both the change and continuity from pre-contact times to the present. NativeTech is dedicated to disconnecting the term 'primitive' from peoples' perceptions of Native American technology and art. A+++

ALBERTA INSTITUTE FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION (AIWC)
A registered charity and non-profit society operating since 1993, the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation is quickly becoming a world model for wildlife and habitat conservation within the profession of wildlife rehabilitation. Staff includes wildlife biologists with 20+ years rehabilitation experience, wildlife technicians and certified rehabiliators. AIWC would greatly appreciate your membership, which would support the care of their injured resident animals.

They have wonderful exhibits ranging from ancient to current times and carry lots of beautiful art creations, from local artists and afar.  A "must see" when visiting Warm Springs' Kah-Nee-Ta Lodge and Casino!
